Job Summary We are seeking an
Inventory Technician
to join our team! As an Inventory Technician, you will be receiving incoming inventory, ensuring all inventory is placed appropriately, and keeping a running list of everything in stock. You will also use reports to fulfill production needs, pulling correct inventory. equipment and products they need and make deliveries and stock products as necessary. The ideal candidate is personable and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming inventory and place it where designated
Responsible for receiving of inventory, tracking all lot numbers and ensuring accurate quantities for fabric, components and manufacturing supplies.
Pull requested amounts of fabrics and components for production based on reports provided by Inventory Manager.
Deliver requested inventory to desired locations in a timely manner
Assist other staff in finding materials and inventory needed
Assist with creating and implementing new inventory processes and procedures to better streamline operations
Maintain organization and cleanliness in inventory room, including periodic sweeping and dusting and keep all components labeled and covered.
Participates in periodic inventory room physical inventory counts.
Report when inventory is low or missing
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Previous inventory management or customer service experience desired
This position involves lifting and moving inventory items in excess of 50lbs. Team-Lift is required whenever appropriate and additional staff are available to assist when required.
Must be able to pass test for Certification to use Walking Forklift
