Conductor / Artistic Director

Worcester Winds, a volunteer dectet of music teachers and professionals, seeks a volunteer conductor to lead our ensemble. Applicants should have sufficient schedule availability to lead two rehearsals each month; and conduct two to four concerts annually. Rehearsals currently occur on either Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings. Occasional performance stipends are available as funding permits. Desired skills include: Conducting training and/or experience Music degree (performance or education) Ability to provide leadership, in consultation with members, around repertoire, rehearsals, concert schedule and musical growth of the ensemble. Familiarity with wind instrumentation and performance techniques preferred. Rehearsals are held at All Saints Church, Worcester, MA; with Pakachoag Music School serving as the organization’s fiscal sponsor.
