Senior Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) Design Engineer
Join our innovative team at Nokia as a Senior RFIC Design Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing high‑speed drivers, trans‑impedance amplifiers (TIAs), and control systems for optical communication applications. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to architecture definition, circuit design, layout, and qualification of electronic circuits integrated with photonic circuits.
Key Responsibilities
Design high‑speed drivers, TIAs, and control systems for optical communication.
Collaborate on architecture definition, circuit design, layout, and qualification of circuits integrated with photonic components.
Drive high‑speed communication product development through innovative solutions.
Stay current with advancements in CMOS, silicon photonics, and optical communications to enhance design approaches.
Required Skills & Experience
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Strong background in high‑speed analog and mixed‑signal IC design; knowledge of circuit noise, linearity, low‑noise TIAs, AGC, linear equalizers.
Experience testing and debugging high‑speed analog/Mixed‑signal ICs and physical design/verification using industry tools (Cadence Virtuoso, HFSS, EMX).
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CMOS, SiGe, BiCMOS manufacturing.
Experience with silicon photonics and optical communications.
Publications & record of innovation.
Digital flow experience: synthesis, static timing, place and route; state‑machine design for mixed‑signal control.
Background in wireline communication: SerDes, CDR, PLL, ADC, DAC.
