Title:
HVAC Quality Assurance & Training Technician
Pay Range:
$55,000-$85,000 annually (base pay + performance incentives)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. with an on-call rotation 1 day every 2-3 weeks

If you're a seasoned HVAC professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, coaching others, and ensuring every job meets the highest standard, this is your next step.
As our
Quality Assurance & Training Technician , you'll be the final set of eyes on new installations, ensuring systems are built to code, optimized for performance, and backed by a happy homeowner. You'll also help shape our installation standards, mentor newer technicians, and play a key role in improving processes across the install department.
This position is perfect for an experienced installer or service technician who wants to transition off the tools while still using their technical expertise to make an impact.

What You'll Do
Perform post-installation inspections to verify workmanship, performance, and code compliance
Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups and ensure successful final inspections
Identify quality or training gaps and provide hands-on coaching to installation teams
Run recall or diagnostic calls as needed to support the field team
Collaborate with the Install Manager on system standards, process improvements, and training curriculum
Document field findings and create quality checklists and improvement reports
What We're Looking For
5+ years of residential HVAC installation or service experience
Strong understanding of system design, airflow, and code compliance
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated professional who thrives working independently and with teams
Skilled at troubleshooting and problem-solving with a customer-first mindset
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Familiarity with North and South Carolina mechanical and electrical codes
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field management software
This role is ideal for someone who's mastered the trade and wants to help elevate others - not just fix problems but prevent them.
