In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide mentoring, leadership, and technical expertise for custom engineered equipment utilized in the design and construction of Floating LNG, On-Shore LNG Export, LNG Peak shaver, FPSO, or regasification projects. Select and implement appropriate designs for compressors, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, vaporizers, tanker loading arms, fired equipment or other packaged equipment. Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer equipment suitable for LNG and Floating LNG projects. Prepare equipment cost estimating and manhours for FEED and Detailed Design phases. Lead and coordinate meetings with internal disciplines, external consultants, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors/fabricators across the globe. Conduct meetings and facilitate collaboration between US and India based design teams. Prepare equipment data sheets and technical specifications for bid and purchase. Perform bid clarifications/meetings with bidders and prepare technical bid evaluations/summaries for equipment. Participate in client project meeting and conduct meetings with equipment team working on the project. Participate in design & model reviews, HAZOP reviews, constructability review etc. Develop construction sub-contracts for mechanical equipment and modularization efforts. Participate in on-site start-up and commissioning work on an as-needed basis. Attend pre-inspection meetings, inspections, and testing on fired equipment in vendor's shop. Project Execution
Extensive technical expertise related to the specification and procurement of custom engineered equipment packages including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, fired heaters, flares, thermal oxidizers, and other heavy mechanical equipment used in the mid-stream process industries. Executing projects from early conceptual, to detailed engineering, to project start-up and operations support. Reading detailed project drawings and blueprints and technical interpretations AutoCAD drafting software for preparation of mechanical equipment datasheets and drawings Equipment inspection and general condition engineering assessment projects per API 510, 571, 579, 653, 573, and 936 Machinery control system requirements, compressor anti-surge protection and performance PLC systems, turbine governor & overspeed trip PLC systems and machine health monitoring systems Attending and performing engineered equipment shop inspections of static equipment Self-perform technical work while also leading and managing a team size of approximately 15 engineers supporting them.

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in engineering work. Minimum of 11 years related work experience. Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary. This position would require working in a typical office environment. The position may entail prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, and the professional would ideally be able to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. The position may also be require physical tasks during site visits, including crouching, grasping, and standing/walking for extended periods of time. 10-25% domestic and international travel may be expected Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
