DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance

Join Restless Software as a DevOps Engineer and be at the heart of our clients software delivery pipeline. You'll collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to automate and optimize our client's infrastructure, ensuring seamless and reliable deployments. Make a real impact by building robust and scalable systems that power our client solutions. Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) based on client requirements. * Implement and maintain configuration management solutions (e.g., Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the client using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. * Integrate source control, build, test, and deployment stages into automated pipelines. * Deploy applications and services to production environments for the client. * Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. * Optimize application performance and resource utilization. * Work closely with the development teams and client to understand application requirements and provide technical guidance. * Collaborate with IT operations to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support. * Mandatory Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in a professional role as a Software/DevOps Engineer * Relevant Bachelors Degree: equivalent to 3 years of experience * Relevant Masters/Doctoral Degree: equivalent to 2 years of experience * Relevant Certifications: equivalent to 3 months of experience * Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby). * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Desired Skills & Certifications: * Experience with DevOps methodologies and practices. * Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps tools. * Contributions to open-source projects. * On-the-job experience installing/configuring/maintaining a Kubernetes cluster * On-the-job experience with sponsor's policies, security practices, regulations, and standards About Us Restless Software is an equal opportunity employer that provides highly skilled technologists and creative solutions to clients in both the private and public sectors.
