Position Summary:
The Brand & Marketing Director is responsible for shaping, promoting, and protecting the organization’s brand and public image. This role leads the planning and execution of marketing strategies to support fundraising, volunteer recruitment, community engagement, and overall mission awareness. Working collaboratively with other committees and staff, the Brand & Marketing Director ensures consistent messaging, professional materials, and a compelling presence across digital and traditional media.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Chair of the Brand & Marketing Committee, coordinating meetings and leading committee initiatives.
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
Collaborate with the Fundraising Coordinator, Fund Procurement Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator to create and distribute engaging content that supports fundraising events, sponsorship outreach, and volunteer recruitment.
Design and maintain professional pitch decks, brochures, social media content, newsletters, and other branded materials.
Oversee the organization’s website, social media channels, and email communications to ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Develop marketing campaigns to promote annual events, community programs, and donor engagement initiatives.
Manage relationships with media outlets, printers, graphic designers, and other vendors as needed.
Identify, schedule, and attend community vendor events on behalf of the organization.
Ensure the consistent use of logos, fonts, colors, and messaging across all platforms and materials.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns, using insights to adjust tactics as needed.
Support crisis communications and reputation management when necessary.
