Software Engineer (Medical Application)

Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer, which is onsite to Aurora, CO. In this role, you will be joining a talented team of software engineers who are designing and developing a reusable software foundation to build satellite ground system software. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain user interface software Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment What You Will Learn Software lifecycle practices for defense projects This is a 12 Month Contract or a Contract to hire Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of relevant software engineering experience Experience with JavaScript and Angular Experience developing user interface software Qualifications We Prefer Experience developing software using Java Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models Pay Rate:- $60 - $65/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
