Overview
Design, implement, and secure CI/CD pipelines across Linux and Windows environments. Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and development teams to weave security into every stage of the software and infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring secure, reliable deployment of mission-critical applications. Support hybrid environments and multiple CI/CD platforms with an emphasis on security automation aligned to DoD standards. Key Responsibilities • Architect, deploy, and harden cross-platform CI/CD pipelines for Linux and Windows workloads. • Automate provisioning and configuration of build/test environments; ensure repeatable, auditable deployments. • Manage DevSecOps toolchain (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, artifact repositories, deployment tooling). • Integrate security testing into pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning) and automate remediation. • Apply RMF/STIG controls to Linux and Windows systems; ensure continuous compliance. • Automate hardening and configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, DSC, or equivalent. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and maintain blueprints. • Monitor pipeline health, document processes, and train teams on secure CI/CD practices. • Establish and maintain secure coding, build, and release standards; support security monitoring and incident response. Required Qualifications • Active Secret clearance required (ability to upgrade to TS/SCI preferred). • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and 6+ years of relevant experience. • 8+ years of combined experience in DevOps, software engineering, or cybersecurity. • Strong CI/CD expertise with GitLab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps. • Linux and Windows system hardening experience with RMF/STIG compliance. • Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, DSC). • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications • 10+ years in DevOps, software, or cybersecurity roles. • Eligibility for higher-level clearances (e.g., TS/SCI/SAP) preferred.
Demonstrated experience with secure pipelines in DoD-like environments. Compensation: $120-$150k
