Position Summary
Jeffers Crane Service, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to act as an Accounting Associate to perform accounting functions, clerical duties, and office support activities that facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Essential Functions
Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
Updating, verifying, and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial records.
Assisting in month‑end reporting procedures.
Using accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
Transferring data to the general ledger.
Reconciling and balancing all accounts.
Collating and analyzing account data and generating financial reports.
Reporting discrepancies found in records.
Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, or recognizing differences.
Ensuring accurate tracking, monitoring, and recording of all charges, records, and other entries.
Filing and maintaining records.
Transmitting information or documents to colleagues or customers via computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
Performing filing and general administrative tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Requirements
Solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong initiative; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and operate office equipment and technology.
Experience with Track Systems is a plus.
