Job Summary We're an early-stage fintech company transforming how venture capital is financed, and we're looking for a dynamic, strategic finance professional to join our team. In this role, you'll help originate, structure, and execute bespoke credit solutions tailored to the private capital markets. You'll work at the forefront of fund finance and LP lending innovation, underwriting complex credit profiles, assessing both fund- and asset-level risk, and building scalable frameworks that support growth. As a specialist in this field, you will play a crucial role in helping us make data-driven lending decisions, enhance portfolio management strategies, and optimize our overall performance. This position requires a cross-functional mindset—spanning financial analysis, credit structuring, GTM strategy, partner relations, and operational enablement. You'll collaborate with capital providers, legal counsel, and venture capital and private equity partners to bring new loan products to life and help unlock liquidity across the venture ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Design and Underwrite Fund Finance Solutions: Originate and structure venture capital/private equity limited partner loans, NAV lines, and bespoke fund credit products by evaluating fund-level financials, portfolio composition, and liquidity scenarios to determine appropriate leverage and risk mitigation strategies.

Conduct Full-Cycle Credit Analysis: Lead end-to-end underwriting including borrower due diligence, financial modeling, LTV analysis, scenario stress testing, and qualitative risk assessments across multiple layers of the capital structure.

Develop and Operationalize New Lending Products: Translate emerging market needs into new credit products—building underwriting frameworks, eligibility criteria, documentation standards, and internal playbooks to guide cross-team execution.

Build and Manage Cross-Functional Workstreams: Coordinate diligence, legal documentation, and credit approvals across internal and external stakeholders, including law firms, capital partners, credit committees, and fund administrators.

Own Financial Modeling and Credit Policy Development: Maintain and enhance core underwriting models and credit policies—introducing new metrics, frameworks, and qualitative overlays to adapt to evolving fund structures and borrower needs.

Monitor Portfolio Risk and Covenant Compliance: Track borrower performance post-close through quarterly fund reporting, financial covenant monitoring, and real-time review of mark-to-market changes and underlying portfolio events.

Craft Internal and External Investment Materials: Prepare investor memos, credit committee decks, and diligence summaries, distilling complex information into concise narratives aligned with institutional credit standards.

Institutionalize Knowledge and Scale Execution: Build internal libraries, underwriting templates, and diligence checklists to codify best practices, improve process consistency, and enable scalable team growth.
