Overview Production Solutions Consultant (PSC)
is the expert on the full line of KMBS production print hardware and solutions products. The PSC works with accounts to provide customer workflow assessments and demonstrations, solution design, configuration, and development. Responsibilities include the creation of statements of work and initial workflow setup. The PSC drives software solution, professional services revenue, and assists with the sales of KM print production hardware. The PSC is an evangelist who thinks outside the box and leads with strong value propositions.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the achievement of production print and professional services revenue goals.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer production print strategy.
Perform pre‑sales account opportunity assessment and professional services and software solution expansion.
Demonstrate customer solution value through proof of concepts.
Analyze customer business requirements and processes.
Develop customer solutions recommendations and proposals.
Work with the Implementation Team to advise on resourcing and staffing for implementation plans.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Develop new techniques, models, and plans to grow the production print business.
Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets within the territory.
Maintain and manage individual sales activities and opportunities in the CRM.
Qualifications
Four‑year college degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years relevant production print solution consulting and/or sales experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong working knowledge of production hardware, services, and solutions offerings.
Documented history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
Excellent time‑management and organizational discipline.
Willingness to travel within market/territory.
Ability to attend training to stay current with technology.
Pass certification tests to enhance career path.
Experience with professional services processes.
Technical understanding of end‑to‑end production printing workflow and ability to communicate KM’s value propositions.
Capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Energetic professional comfortable prospecting for print opportunities both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods during travel or customer meetings/presentations.
