We’re seeking a skilled and proactive
HR Manager
to lead the daily operations of our Human Resources Department. This role is essential in executing HR strategies, supporting staff and leadership, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and HRIS functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations: Manage HR services and supervise HR staff; implement strategic HR initiatives.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding processes.
Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide guidance on policies, conduct investigations, and ensure legal compliance.
Performance & Training: Oversee performance reviews and support staff development programs.
Payroll & Benefits: Administer payroll and benefits; manage leave programs and vendor relations.
HRIS & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR metrics and reports.
Engagement & Culture: Promote inclusive workplace initiatives and support JEDI efforts.
Other Duties: Represent HR in meetings and contribute to special projects.
Qualifications / Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and HR operations.
Supervisory or mentoring experience preferred.
Experience in healthcare or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting strongly preferred.
SHRM‑CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (iSolved or similar).
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
