Leidos Dynetics, reporting through the Digital Modernization Sector, within our Corporate Information Security Office is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. In this role you will play a key part in designing, maintaining, and enhancing our architecture while ensuring compliance with information assurance requirements and guaranteeing continuity of operations.
Location: Huntsville, AL (all work performed onsite)
Clearance: Must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices; bonus points for Linux experience.
Configure complex Server OS structures and clusters.
Manage policy creation, change configuration, and prioritization.
Embrace new technologies to meet evolving requirements.
Contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and overall infrastructure support.
Build out racks from elevations provided and contribute to rack configurations.
Document system configurations and baselines.
Provide backup and recovery services while managing file systems and disk space.
Utilize desktop and server virtualization within Hyper‑V, VMware vSphere, and ESXi.
Handle ticket load and prioritize daily on‑site support and troubleshooting.
Work on multiple projects, sometimes leading a project.
Manage user accounts and access control in a domain or stand‑alone environment.
Ensure proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.
Troubleshoot and repair Windows operating system issues on servers and workstations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of System Administrator experience, or Associate degree and 10 years, or Master’s and 6 years, or equivalent work experience.
Current Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance.
DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., Security CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interface effectively with security agencies, customers, and management.
Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a classified collateral environment / SAP / SCI.
System Administrator experience in a similar sized organization.
Understanding of network concepts, Type 1 encryption devices (e.g., TACLANE), and cybersecurity tools.
Knowledge of securely configuring network equipment (switches and firewalls).
Pay Range $89,700.00 – $162,150.00
