Our client is a multidisciplinary studio based in Gloucestershire. They currently have an opening for an Associate Landscape Architect with planning experience. The practice is known for delivering thoughtful, sustainable, and community-focused projects, with a growing reputation in planning and landscape assessment work.
The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on a senior leadership role within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Lead on LVIA and landscape planning projects, from initial appraisal through to delivery
Manage and review technical reports including LVIAs, TVIAs, and landscape strategies
Coordinate and present evidence for planning submissions and public inquiries
Support the development of landscape policy and guidance, contributing to best practice in the sector
Provide leadership to the landscape team, mentoring colleagues and helping to shape workflows
Build strong client relationships and represent the practice at meetings and consultations
Qualifications and Key Skills
A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with substantial post-chartership experience
Experience in LVIA, TVIA, and landscape planning work with a solid understanding of relevant guidance and policy
Skilled at preparing high-quality written reports as well as delivering clear, evidence-based advice
Confident in project leadership and managing client relationships
Proficient in industry tools such as GIS, AutoCAD/Vectorworks, and Adobe Creative Suite
An effective mentor, keen to support the growth and development of junior colleagues
