Position Summary
The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC), founded in 1975, is a National Cancer Institute‑designated comprehensive cancer center. The center’s mission is to reduce cancer occurrence and death in North Carolina and the nation through research, treatment, training, and outreach. UNC CASCADE Network Research Base is hiring a full‑time Project Coordinator based at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health in Chapel Hill, NC. The study is a 5‑year NIH‑funded trial to develop, test, and implement effective, scalable, and cost‑effective screening and treatment strategies to improve the screening for and management of cervical cancer among women living with HIV. The Project Coordinator will be in charge of all aspects of study implementation as part of a friendly and productive team that includes UNC faculty, staff, and students. They will directly manage day‑to‑day study activities and serve as the main point of contact for project partners.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Relevant post‑baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent). For candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, a relevant bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience may be accepted. Terminal degree and licensure may be required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail‑orientation
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with research study design and implementation
Experience with data management and quality control
Experience with writing grant proposals and academic publications
Simple data analysis skills
