Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Specialist in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols throughout the premises. Your presence helps deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site.

What You'll Do
Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks within the facility and perimeter.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and surrounding areas to help deter unauthorized activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors according to established security-related procedures.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the logistics and distribution environment.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
