As a Behavior Technician you will support students with special needs through structured behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology Education or related field preferred)
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
Basic understanding of ABA principles (training provided if needed)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to follow behavior plans under BCBA supervision
Patience reliability and a passion for helping others
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Responsibilities
Work directly with students to implement ABA-based behavioral strategies
Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA
Accurately collect and record behavioral data
Support students in developing communication social and life skills
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and staff
Ensure safety and well-being of all students under your care
