As a Senior Product Associate in Commercial Card, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Assist in assessing financial performance of products and strategies
Contribute to fact-based business assessments to identify opportunities and inform decisions
Assist in analyzing contractual cost structures of key partners
Communicate with internal and external partners to understand needs and priorities
Stay informed about industry trends to identify areas of opportunity
Deliver reporting that provides key insights into business performance
Build visuals and narratives based on observed/measured data
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery, requirements definition and business case development
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Good communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders
Ability to develop collaborative relationships with partners
Strong organizational skills to help manage successful execution
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage ambiguity
Working knowledge of SQL or Alteryx
Comfortable in fluid, ambiguous environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience working in a matrixed organization
Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business or similar experience
Interest in the payments industry and willingness to learn
