Responsibilities

Teach day and evening accounting classes at the Community College of Baltimore County.

Prepare and deliver instruction in accordance with department standards.

Cooperate with college support staff by timely submission of teaching materials as required.

Coordinate activities with the Department Chair or coordinator.

Attend department meetings and participate in professional development activities.

Be available to students outside of class for academic support.

Qualifications

An earned master’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree in business with at least 18 graduate credits in accounting.

Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license.

Two years of professional experience in the accounting field (preferred).

Two years of teaching experience at the college level (preferred).

Pay and Location Pay Level: $1085 per credit hour

Campus Locations: Essex, Catonsville & Owings Mills
