The company is currently looking for a

Sales Representative

in the Sales & Marketing Department. The Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is to manage the sales process while providing excellent customer service. The Sales Representative continuously sources new customers, helps customers find and design their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers.

Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish DR Horton as the best solution available.

Overcome objections and close sales.

Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options and construction.

Continually source new sales opportunities.

Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.

Network and perform outreach to realtors.

Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals and work effectively with other team members.

Maintain and expand a database of prospects.

Attend sales meetings.

Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors and team members.

Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit of the company.

Qualifications Education and/or Experience

Associate Degree or 2+ years of related experience.

Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.

Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Ability to follow instructions given in written, oral form or via DRH Sales applications.

Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensing requirements vary by state.

Prior CRM software experience.

Previous sales experience and knowledge of the industry preferred.

Excel in interpersonal and communication skills.

Strongly motivated.

Compensation Salary: $16.50 per hour plus a $2,000 closing bonus.
