Job Summary The responsibilities for this position include the following:

Directly overseeing the design and implementation of Strength and Conditioning programs for 2-4 Olympic Sports (40%)

Assisting with the implementation of other sports as assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. (40%)

Supervision, organization, and administration of athlete testing, computer data entry, and assisting in the day-to-day operational needs of the AOB Weight Room. (20%)

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled (full-time) in a graduate program.

Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field.

Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework.

Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States.

Current first aid, CPR, and AED certification.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to motivate a variety of student-athletes daily.

Actively pursuing Certification through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa-SCCC), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS), or United States Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach (USAW-L1SP)

Preferred Qualifications

National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS)

Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa-SCCC)

United States Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach (USAW-L1SP)

Experience with the Olympic lifts.

Experience in a Colligate strength and conditioning program.

Experience with advanced data entry
