Position Details
Regular, full‑time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay rate: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on certification, degree, and years of experience
Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI
Qualifications
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required OR a bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field preferred
Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom
CPR certification
Willingness to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE teachers

Essential Functions
Ensure overall safety of children
Develop and implement daily lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and interests
Implement HighScope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
Conduct parent‑teacher conferences
Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
Attend company and school meetings
Partner with parents and support students on toilet training approaches
Participate in snack and meal service using family‑style dining
Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
Ensure the classroom environment is engaging and developmentally appropriate
