About The Role We are seeking a motivated VRF Piping Helper to assist in the installation of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems. This is an entry‑level position ideal for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the HVAC trade. You will work closely with experienced technicians to support piping, layout, and installation tasks in commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities
Assist technicians with the installation of VRF piping systems
Measure, cut, and prepare copper and other piping materials
Support layout, brazing, and insulation of piping under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely
Follow instructions to support project deadlines and quality standards
Assist with loading/unloading materials and site preparation
Qualifications
Some knowledge or experience in HVAC, plumbing, or piping preferred (not required)
Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand / power tools
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders / scaffolding as needed
OSHA 10/30 certification a plus (can be provided)
Salary $20 - $25 per hour
