Job Overview The Senior Director, Client Services is a pivotal leadership role on Wasserman’s Experiential Team, responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of agency projects from brief through execution while simultaneously helping to build and grow the business. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing both strategic direction and hands‑on oversight, while shaping the future of the team. In this role, the Senior Director will initially manage one direct report, with the expectation and opportunity to grow the team as the business expands. They must be entrepreneurial, nimble, and eager to build something from the ground‑up while balancing client service excellence with business development and retention in mind. Ideal candidates will not only have a knack for experiential execution, but also understand how experiential fits into broader integrated campaigns. They should have the ability to deliver high quality work across a wide range of budgets, from larger multi‑million dollar activations to small $100K programs with limited resources. A passion for and previous experience with creator‑driven activations, music talent experiences, and cultural moments is essential. The Senior Director must be a go‑getter, proactive in identifying opportunities, and ready to navigate the complexities of a large agency environment while driving growth and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Lead and grow a client services team, starting with 1 direct report and scaling up as business demands
Mentor and develop talent across levels, building career paths and fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture
Drive strategic and innovative thinking, developing integrated experiential solutions that align with larger campaign objectives
Maintain oversight of multiple accounts and projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and flawless delivery
Build and nurture strong client relationships, focusing on both retention and identifying new business opportunities
Partner across Wasserman departments (strategy, creative, influencer, hospitality, etc.) to deliver integrated, culturally relevant programs
Manage project budgets ranging from $100K to $4M+, draft agency fees, and ensure financial targets are consistently met
Provide strong leadership in client conversations, navigating challenges and making quick, sound decisions in real time
Champion process improvements and team efficiencies while maintaining focus on white‑glove client service
Act as a subject matter expert on experiential and its integration into larger brand campaigns
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years of relevant agency experience in experiential, sports, entertainment, or culture
Proven track record managing and growing client accounts, delivering large‑scale integrated projects from concept through execution
Demonstrated ability to build and scale teams, with strong mentorship and leadership skills
Deep understanding of the experiential landscape, with a passion for creator‑led activations and music talent experiences
Previous experience working with integrated internal and external agency teams
Ability to deliver strong results across budgets both large scale and small scale, including $100K programs with limited resources
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of navigating fast‑paced environments
Solution‑oriented mindset with ability to manage client challenges and complex scenarios
Entrepreneurial drive with eagerness to build business from the ground up and contribute to agency growth
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets across a wide range of scales
Comfortable working within a large agency ecosystem, proactively collaborating across functions
Ambitious, adaptable, and committed to pushing the boundaries of experiential marketing
Compensation Base salary range: $135k–$165k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training, level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company, and more. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
