About The Role Hi, I’m James, co‑founder & CTO. We’re looking for a Platform Software Engineer to join our core team. This role requires handling gigabytes of data syncs, coordinating complex workflows, and delivering reliable forms and email services at scale.
Engineer multiplier: unlock and empower product engineers to build features for our customers.
Intellectually curious: debate database designs, optimize systems.
Pragmatic optimizer: balance cost of infra changes versus benefits.
This role is in‑person, 5 days/week in
San Francisco .
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
Have experience building cloud infrastructure, dev‑ops, and platform features at fast‑growing companies.
Have experience with our tech stack: Golang in the backend, Kafka job queue, PostgreSQL, and GCP hosting.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You
Developer tooling fascinates you.
Track record of side projects, apps, hackathons; e.g., live streaming security system, custom database, Splitwise app, hosted Minecraft server.
