Job Summary NYX Professional Makeup is seeking a visionary leader to join the Brand Culture & Consumer Experience team as Director of E-commerce. This role will build and scale a unified e-commerce engine across D2C, DDX, loyalty, social commerce, and digital innovation - driving growth, elevating our digital presence, and creating innovative, seamless consumer experiences.
You’ll lead a talented team to define and execute an integrated strategy that enhances site performance, conversion, and storytelling across every touchpoint. Partnering cross-functionally, you’ll shape how NYX Professional Makeup connects with its community, delivers operational excellence, and pushes the boundaries of how beauty meets culture online.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee go-to-market strategy and activation across US owned platform strategy (D2C + TikTok Shop + DDX + Loyalty) aligned with NYX Professional Makeup's overall business & marketing goals
Build the content strategy across TikTok Shop and NYX Access program with the support of the team and in alignment with Marketing and Consumer Engagement, finding synergies and ways to amplify across full funnel (content to commerce)
Oversee forecasting, promo planning and P&L management for the D2C and TikTok Shop channels (in partnership with team and CPD division)
Build and manage the digital budget with Finance partner to ensure the right D2C, TikTok Shop and DDX activations can be supported
Spearhead Digital Innovation initiatives, find innovative ways to engage new audiences where they spend their time (gaming, AI tools like chatgpt, AR, etc) and unlock new ways of shopping, working with agencies, platforms and media partners (Roblox, Snapchat, etc)
Digital Marketing & CRM: oversee CRM & DDX initiatives (CRM/SMS, loyalty) strategize and lead the team to ensure execution with excellence
Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership: collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, global marketing, supply chain, corporate, to unlock support for D2C, TikTok Shop & DDX especially on projects that haven't been done before in the organization
Lead, inspire, manage digital talent, and be an enabler for the team: unblocking blockers, connecting the dots across departments, etc to foster a results-driven, innovative, agile and collaborative environments.
Qualifications
9+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce and digital marketing (site, CRM, social commerce etc), with a significant portion preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
Strong commercial e-commerce experience, with a proven track record of driving significant e-commerce sales growth and managing a P&L.
Experience managing and developing a team
Proven experience or strong aptitude for leading and implementing cutting-edge digital experiences such as AR, AI, or gaming activations
Proficiency in analyzing e-commerce data, extracting actionable insights, and utilizing various analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Salary Range 128-180k Base Salary + Bonus
