Commercialization Specialist
The Commercialization Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful launch and ongoing compliance of Essentia products by coordinating cross-functional commercialization activities. This role bridges product development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and customer support to ensure product specifications, documentation, and labeling meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a science discipline or business management field. Work experience will be considered in lieu of related degree. 24 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality, or regulatory roles. Job Duties: Lead and support commercialization activities for new product introductions, including documentation, timelines, and cross-functional communication. Oversee the timely and compliant release of finished goods, ensuring all quality and regulatory checks are completed. Manage and distribute Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Maintain and update product specifications in corporate document control system and laboratory information management systems (LIMS), ensuring both customer and internal requirements are met. Coordinate label creation, updates, and compliance reviews in alignment with regulatory and customer requirements. Assist in broader project management initiatives within Essentia, ensuring milestones are met, appropriate commercialization activities occur throughout project execution, and the Essentia Stage Gate process is utilized. Work closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing compliance. Identify and implement process improvements related to product documentation, release, and commercialization workflows. Serve as back-up for customer documentation needs. Any other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Ability to manage multiple tasks and project simultaneously. Experience with LIMS, ERP, or formulation software preferred. Familiarity with food labeling regulations (FDA, USDA, etc.) and quality systems. Experience with project management or stage gate-type processes preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while modeling TRACK values. Domestic travel up to 10% depending on business needs.
