Job Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing all vendor invoices. Handles all vendor phone calls and emails and issues payments for invoices.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

Processes vendor invoices by checking receipt of all purchase orders in Syteline, verifies prices, gets approval for miscellaneous and freight invoices by appropriate manager, codes invoices with appropriate GL account and enters them into Syteline.

Codes and enters employee expense reports into Syteline after approval by appropriate manager.

Processes check run approved by CFO; prints and mails checks for vendors, files all paid invoices and calls or emails vendors about sent payments.

On a weekly basis, prints and researches all goods received but have yet to be invoiced by working with production and receiving departments to resolve issues.

Assists production department in closing jobs and answers phone in rotation when front desk administrator is not available.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or related is required.

Microsoft Office and experience with manufacturing software preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to talk and hear to enable effective communication.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Occasional standing, walking or stooping.
