Job Summary
We are offering a $500 sign‑on bonus for experienced candidates to join our growing Revenue Cycle Team. The A/R Specialist will use 1‑2 years of medical billing experience to ensure accurate claims processing, deny mitigation, resubmissions, and collections for home health services.
Key Responsibilities
File timely reconsiderations and appeals.
Communicate with payers to resolve balances, correct and reprocess claims and appeal discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve claim denials, ensuring accurate corrections and timely resubmissions.
Review and resolve unpaid balances on assigned accounts.
Conduct eligibility checks across insurance providers, ensuring timely holds or discharges.
Collaborate across departments, maintain compliance, and deliver excellent customer service.
Ideal Candidates
Experience with medical billing denials, appeals, ERAs/EOBs.
Consistently meet and adhere to department and payer deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, research, and analytical skills.
Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with the team.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to accept feedback.
Passion for problem‑solving and navigating complex issues.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Preferably two years of medical billing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and medical billing systems.
