Collaborate closely with clients to understand their strategic business objectives and translate them into precise functional and technical requirements. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third‑party vendors to ensure alignment on technology solutions. Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to capture current processes and define future‑state requirements. Manage stakeholder expectations through structured communication channels such as project dashboards, reports, and executive summaries. Conduct detailed business analysis to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities for digital transformation. Evaluate existing systems and recommend innovative IT solutions that improve productivity, scalability, and user experience. Lead the documentation of business processes, data flows, and system interactions using industry‑standard tools and notations (e.g., BPMN, UML). Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in system design and implementation. Provide comprehensive documentation, use cases, and process diagrams to support development and testing activities. Manage and coordinate IT projects, ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Drive business process re‑engineering initiatives and guide clients through organizational and digital change. Identify and allocate project resources, ensuring effective collaboration between technical and business teams. Support project governance through progress tracking, risk assessment, and issue resolution. Champion the adoption of IT‑driven solutions, guiding clients through implementation and change management. Assist clients with the integration of new systems, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and technical environments. Develop and deliver end‑user training programs, knowledge‑transfer sessions, and reference documentation. Provide post‑implementation support, including system validation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement recommendations. Contribute to the firm’s internal knowledge base by sharing insights, methodologies, and case studies from client engagements. Stay current with emerging technologies, digital trends, and IT frameworks to provide forward‑thinking recommendations. Promote the value and competitive advantage of the firm’s BA services in achieving client technology and business transformation goals. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant within IT consulting, systems integration, or software development. Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps), and enterprise applications. Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience with data analysis, process modeling, and requirements management frameworks. Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑PBA, Agile BA, or ITIL) are highly desirable. Where You'll Work
Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. This position will require a hybrid/onsite work schedule out of our downtown Indianapolis office. Salary
