Our client, a leading organization in the technology and services sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer – Control M to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Support Engineer – Control M, you will be an integral part of the support department, collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Job Title:

Technical Support Engineer – Control M

Location:

Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid work model in Phoenix, Austin, or Westlake; working on-site Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What's the Job?

Interact effectively with all levels of technical and managerial staff to resolve complex issues.

Diagnose and troubleshoot Control-M and related system problems to restore services promptly.

Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions to support continuous improvement.

Mentor and cross-train team members to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Evaluate and implement solutions for business and service-impacting problems, consulting with senior technical leaders as needed.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 5-7 years of directly related experience in technical support roles.

Proficiency with Control-M and experience with JES/SDSF, ISPF, JCL, CA-ESP, CA11, NAS, and UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations, documentation, and customer interactions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of SQL, database infrastructure, network communication, and scripting languages such as Unix Shell and PERL.
