What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Review claims with outstanding balances and follow up with insurers and patients to ensure successful revenue collection

Analyze denials, identify trends, and recommend process improvements for better collection rates and reduced bad debt

Verify insurance information with patients and submit appeals for denied claims in accordance with payer requirements

Communicate effectively with franchise partners and other departments regarding collection statuses and resolve payer issues

Document case activity and communications in the computer system to maintain accurate account records

What is Required (Qualifications):

2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience required

High School Diploma and additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and collections

Minimum of 2 years of experience in home infusion therapy

Proven understanding of billing and collection processes with all payer types

Strong organizational skills and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Previous experience in a remote work environment

Detail-oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience
