The

Senior Manager, Creative Copy

is the voice behind Goodyear’s brand portfolio. This role leads the development of messaging systems, brand narratives, and copywriting standards across all channels from film and digital to retail and partner communications. You’ll manage the Senior Copywriter and collaborate closely with the Creative Director of Design to deliver platform ideas that drive performance and move markets.

What You’ll Do

Create and maintain brand voice guidelines and messaging frameworks.

Write and approve copy for ads, videos, websites, social media, retail, and partner channels.

Supervise and mentor the Senior Copywriter.

Work with the Design team to develop big ideas and creative platforms.

Craft scripts, product stories, retail messaging, and executive communications.

Partner with regional teams to adapt messaging and manage legal approvals.

Set up workflows, manage version control, and track performance to improve results.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Communications, English, Journalism or a related field (or portfolio equivalency).

8 or more years of experience in brand/agency creative, leading copy across integrated campaigns and content systems.

Produced work across channels (film, digital, social, retail) with measurable impact.

Experience coaching writers, setting voice guidelines and running critiques/workflows.

Expert command of narrative, clarity, brevity and brand storytelling – strong presentation and selling skills.

Experience with multi‑market localization, legal/claims review and regulated copy environments.

Familiarity with analytics and test‑and‑learn methods for messaging optimization.

What Will Set You Apart

Master’s degree in advertising, Communications, English, Journalism or a related field (or portfolio equivalency).

World‑class writing/editing craft (from platform line to long‑form narrative).

Ability to connect product/brand truths to audience insight and channel context.

Calm, clear communicator – ability to simplify complex information and drive decisions quickly.

Collaborative partner to Design, Operations and Content Managers – protects standards without slowing delivery.

Comfortable operating across time zones – occasional travel for production and key review.
