Overview The Senior HR Generalist serves as a strategic and hands‑on business partner to leaders and employees, driving engagement, operational excellence, and organizational growth across multiple sites. This role provides full‑spectrum HR support including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and talent development while leading initiatives that enhance employee experience and strengthen our culture.
Ideal candidates will have experience in brand‑recognized organizations with strong HR practices, combining tactical execution with strategic insight. This individual should bring curiosity, strong business acumen, and a consultative approach to partnering with our leaders.
Responsibilities Business Partnership & Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance and coaching to strengthen performance, communication, and team dynamics.
Support managers with employee relations, investigations, documentation, and performance improvement plans.
Work closely with managers to address employee concerns, ensuring issues are reported, investigated, documented, and resolved in a fair and timely manner.
Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and identify trends that inform retention and engagement efforts.
Lead onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent, high‑quality employee experience.
Compliance & Policy
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
Partner with the HR leadership team to maintain and evolve company policies for clarity, consistency, and fairness.
Maintain accurate, compliant employee records and perform periodic audits to ensure data integrity.
Talent & Organizational Development
Support the execution of talent management initiatives, including identification of talent needs, organizational design, succession planning, development plans, and leadership programs.
Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and develop high‑potential talent across the organization.
Assist in salary and bonus planning cycles, job evaluation, and maintenance of compensation structures.
Employee Engagement & Communication
Partner with leadership on employee engagement strategies, including survey action planning, communication forums, and recognition initiatives.
Ensure employees stay informed by maintaining accessible communication tools such as digital signage, email, and mobile apps.

Process Improvement & Project Management
Lead or support cross‑functional HR projects aimed at improving process efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
Document and refine standard operating procedures for repeatable, high‑quality outcomes.
Support HR systems implementation and optimization efforts to improve the employee and manager experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive HR experience in generalist or HRBP roles; multi‑site or manufacturing/distribution experience a plus.
Proven ability to build trust, influence outcomes, and act as a consultative partner to leaders.
Strong understanding of employment law and compliance best practices.
Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and performance management processes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (ADP or similar).
PHR or SHRM‑CP certification preferred.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
