About the Role
This position supports federal and multi-state income and franchise tax compliance, tax accounting, and planning initiatives for a global organization. The role offers exposure to a wide range of tax functions and opportunities for professional development in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing federal and state income and franchise tax returns, including fixed assets, apportionment, and book/tax differences
Prepare estimated tax calculations, account reconciliations, and accrual-to-return adjustments
Conduct tax research and support planning initiatives
Prepare quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provisions, including deferred tax and FIN 48 analysis
Support tax audits by preparing audit-ready documentation
Maintain internal controls over tax accounts and processes
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
Communicate project status and meet deadlines consistently
Build strong working relationships across departments and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Working knowledge of U.S. tax principles and ASC 740, including FIN 48
Proficiency in OneSource, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office, and OneStream
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Taxation
1+ years of relevant experience
CPA certification
Experience with data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI)
