A critical component of achieving that mission is to provide advisors and their businesses with insights and capabilities that enable them to manage client fees, benchmark against other practices and provide a seamless and predictable process for managing compensation.
The SVP of Compensation and Practice Management is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to evolve LPL's current offering. Helping advisors create efficient practices while providing business insights, billing capabilities and practice management tools that are predictable, flexibly manage their growth and add value to their business. This includes developing and managing the customer experience across key areas that include practice management, fee billing, advisor compensation, practice reporting, registrations and LPL's evolving and expanding business affiliation models. The SVP will build cross-functional partnerships with internal stakeholders to research, design and build the end-to-end strategy, user experience, execution and overall adoption and go-to-market plans. Further, collaborating closely with LPL's Business and Technology teams to deliver a robust roadmap that communicates the product vision clearly to executive leaders as well as execution teams. The role will also provide leadership in partnering and negotiating with 3rd party technology solution providers, as well as determining the appropriate strategy for decisioning on build / buy offerings. Lastly, this leader will interact with advisors and their teams to identify opportunities to improve their utilization of LPL's offering and overall experience.
To be successful in this role, the SVP will exude a passion for modern product management, with a focus on agile development and iterative delivery of solutions. Requires the ability to get into the details with the team to solve problems and deliver solutions, as well as have the ability to roll up the efforts of the team in a cohesive communication to the most senior levels in the company and to clients. Driving the roadmap as well as communicating its progress to a variety of audiences is critical. The outputs of the roadmap drive the business outcomes, and this leader will understand how to work with analytic partners to measure the success of the team's efforts.

Essential Responsibilities
Drives the creation and delivery of the Compensation and Practice Management portfolio, with a focus on developing an end-to-end client experience delivered through agile development
Works with a diverse group of cross-functional teams to ensure creative and continuous improvements with the goal of exciting our advisors and their clients, leading the market, and attracting additional business
Drive insights and practical recommendations using feedback from advisors, internal stakeholders and key partners across the enterprise
Deliver internal and external executive level updates, improvement recommendations and enable the development of new growth opportunities
Qualifications Passion for driving engaging and valuable customer experiences and ability to persuade others to share this vision, collaborate and execute 12-15 years of experience in product management related roles, preferably within a broker-dealer, RIA, investment or financial services firm 10+ years of developing, cultivating and leading strong, high-performing teams in an agile environment Flexibility and organizational change management experience The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes, in some cases without having direct authority Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to interact with senior leaders, including developing, presenting and gaining approval on any business cases and funding requests needed to further drive the execution of the roadmap Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and evaluate results against established objectives Actively anticipates, identifies and manages risks within position scope and at the company Expert consensus builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges
Education Bachelor's degree in a related field;
Holder of series 7 & 24, or willingness to obtain once in role
Pay Range $179,775-$299,625 / year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
