Principal Program Material Cost Control Analyst (Clearance Required) - R10212533 Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) in its Palmdale, CA facility to support the Material Cost Management organization. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance and will work on site daily.

Responsibilities

Assist and guide the implementation of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs) while ensuring compliance with DoD EVMS guidelines and the Autonomous Systems Division EVM System.

Support EVMS activities for Major Subcontracts and General Procurement, including WBS alignment, time phasing, development of earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate‑to‑complete analysis, and variance analysis research and reporting.

Prepare month‑end reports, develop and review EACs, and incorporate changes into the EVMS system to maintain cost and schedule baselines for Major Subcontract/GP.

Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as required.

Provide support to Integrated Product Teams and Cost Management Managers, and support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience in business management, accounting, or financial analysis, or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Experience with Group Pegging and Distribution (GPD).

Experience with Business Systems (SAP/Cobra).

Ability to work onsite daily in Palmdale, CA.

Demonstrated working experience with EVMS and ERP subcontract experience.

Active DoD Secret clearance and program access required to start.

Preferred Qualifications

Financial forecasting and/or material accounting experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 – $136,800.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
