This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is “On‑Site” at the location detailed in the job post.
Work Week: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Essential Job Functions
Apply primers and topcoats using appropriate techniques.
Mask and paint stripes per designer debrief and knowledge of paint products.
Identify areas of aircraft to mask or polish and perform sanding.
Apply silver tapes and remove old paint with liquid remover and pressure washer.
Paint landing gear, fuel caps, antennas and door frames per designer debrief; inspect and report quality issues.
Assure quality through visual inspections and final pre‑paint prep.
Prepare, sign off, and understand various documents for record keeping as required by FAA regulations.
Smooth, etch and apply conversion coatings to aluminum surfaces with acid washes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required High School/GED
Additional Qualifications
Man Lift and Respirator Fit certifications required.
Regularly scheduled attendance required.
Physical: routinely lifts up to 50 lbs; tolerates working in confined spaces, heights above four feet, and standing for prolonged periods.
Environmental: tolerates extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
Painting experience: one year aircraft paint experience or three years related experience.
