Position Overview Residential Transitions Inc. (RTI) is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position will focus on managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and helping to enhance RTI's brand visibility. The Marketing Coordinator will support in executing strategies to raise awareness of RTI’s services and mission, with a focus on digital media. The role offers valuable experience in social media management, content creation, and marketing strategy for a growing organization.
Role Responsibilities
Social Media Management: Assist in the management of RTI's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), including content scheduling, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement.
Content Creation: Design, write, and curate posts, blogs, newsletters, and other digital content to promote RTI’s programs, services, and recruitment. Create visual assets like graphics, videos, and infographics.
Newsletter Development: Collaborate with team members to design and distribute engaging internal and external newsletters, maintaining consistent formatting, branding, and tone.
Event Promotion: Promote events through social media, email campaigns, and community outreach to maximize attendance and support RTI’s recruitment efforts.
Brand Development: Help maintain RTI’s brand voice and messaging across digital channels, ensuring consistency in tone and presentation.
Market Research: Assist in researching industry trends and competitor strategies, contributing insights to improve RTI’s marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications And Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, including creating and managing social media content, designing graphics, and supporting digital marketing initiatives.
Currently enrolled in or graduated from a marketing, communications, or related degree program.
Strong interest in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
Proficient with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Experience with or interest in developing newsletters and formatting visual content for internal and external communications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to design and format digital and print promotional materials, such as flyers, infographics, and event collateral.
Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn, be flexible, and work in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for RTI’s mission and a desire to make a difference in the mental health and community services sector.
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
At least one year of Marketing experience in social service field.
