Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $72,000.00/yr

Work Location:

Parsippany, NJ / Hybrid work schedule, working Mon, Tues, Thursday in the office.

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Legal Administrative Assistant will support Sun Chemical’s Corporate Legal team. This role performs a variety of administrative legal tasks essential to the efficient operation of the legal department, working closely with Corporate Counsel to manage contracts and compliance files, and departmental operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Organize & maintain filing/file room

Obtain and circulate appropriate attorney service of process documents (CT Corp)

General clerical work as needed

Store contracts (such as leases, procurement, and supply agreements) in the legal database (Legisway), and follow-up with the appropriate business owner before contract expiration or renewal date

Draft contract amendments and related correspondence

Review and support the execution of NDAs

Interface with parent company (DIC Corp) legal department

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum 3 years Law firm/In-House legal experience

Familiarity with contract management systems (CMS)

Excellent oral and written communication, problem solving and organization skills with scrupulous attention to detail.

Experience handling corporate governance, contract lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Familiarity with developing and using AI agent
