Operating Room RN Job Details

Shift:

12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), Friday/Saturday/Sunday

Guaranteed Hours:

36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay:

$2020 – $2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia required

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

BLS certification required

Experience in orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgery cases preferred

Ability to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) during assignment

No local candidates within 50 miles of Duluth, GA

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort

Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgery procedures

Maintain a sterile surgical environment and prepare the operating room for procedures

Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery

Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality clinical support

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
