Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and active ARRT and BLS certifications for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities Work in a diagnostic radiology department Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including every other weekend Five 8-hour shifts per week with no on-call requirements May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed Utilizes GE and OEC C-arm equipment as well as Carestream portable X-ray machines General diagnostic radiology and some computerized tomography (CT) procedures may be performed Block scheduling is not permitted Must maintain required hours of continuing education Primary responsibilities include conducting computerized tomographic and general diagnostic radiology examinations Travelers should expect to float to other affiliated hospitals as needed Online training or testing modules must be completed before the start date Background check and drug screen must be completed at designated vendor within a set timeline after commitment All time off requests must be disclosed prior to assignment and are subject to approval Scrubs or dress code requirements not specified
Requirements Active MI Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable Current ARRT (R) registration required; eligibility for advanced CT registry is preferred AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray High school diploma or GED required Must complete all required online modules onsite prior to start with a passing score COVID-19 vaccination required to work
