Picture the start of your shift in our Rosenberg, Texas plant: you review the overnight work orders, walk the line, and jump into action on a 480V 3-phase motor drive that needs attention. By sunrise, you’ve restored a fryer line, coached a junior tech through a VFD fault, and logged proactive fixes that will keep production moving.
Compensation & Location
Location: Rosenberg, Texas
Pay: $40.00 – $45.50 per hour
Schedule: Thursday 1AM - 7AM; Thursday 7PM - Friday 7AM; Friday 7PM - Saturday AM; Saturday 7PM - Sunday 7AM
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair multi-craft issues across electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
Install, maintain, and optimize pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, control valves, and both centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
Service and improve production assets such as fryers, ovens, steam systems, conveyor systems, Fryer Fire Suppression Systems, VFDs, packaging lines, and robotics.
Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, interpret schematics, and apply test instrumentation including Volt-Ohm meters, amp meters, All Test Pro, ultrasound, and precision measurement tools.
Execute and refine preventive maintenance (PM) and work order processes to enhance reliability and throughput.
Fabricate and repair parts using lathes, mills, and arc/Heliarc® welding as needed.
Respond urgently to maintenance calls, complete in-progress repairs, and help prioritize short- and long-term corrective actions.
Share expertise by mentoring entry-level mechanics and collaborating across shifts.
Tools, Training & Support
Tool replacement program: if a tool breaks on-site while in use—whether purchased personally or through the company—we replace it.
Provided: basic roll-around tool cart, annual tool allowance, electrical safety tools, Fluke multimeter, Fluke clamp-on ammeter, annual safety shoes, annual uniform allowance, plus specialty tools for specific maintenance.
You bring: basic hand tools needed for daily troubleshooting and repairs.
Growth: extensive hands-on, on-the-job training with additional specialty-equipment training offered throughout the year.
Assessment: prior to the in-person interview, you will complete a hands-on electrical skills test.
Environment & Culture
Our plants are large and can be loud. Temperatures and humidity vary with the seasons, and some areas include hazardous equipment and slippery surfaces. We work under pressure when lines go down—and we support each other to get back up quickly and safely.

Solid mechanical foundation with working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.

Comfort working in extreme temperatures/humidity and around loud/hazardous equipment.
: electrical certification, manufacturing maintenance experience, technical school training, and/or welding experience; 2+ years in manufacturing electro-mechanical repair is a plus.
