Travel Registered Nurse RN Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU.
The Position Neonatal Intensive Care Nurses care for premature and critically ill newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a hospital. These babies require immediate medical attention, so Neonatal Intensive Care Nurses connect them to technology that helps them breathe and feed intravenously, allowing them to gain weight. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, you’ll work under the direction of a physician, caring for the newborn, and helping to educate their new mothers about the baby’s condition, breastfeeding, and answering their questions.
Weekly amount stated in the job postings is scaled based on estimated hourly wages and potential stipends available for the location of the assignment. Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing in NICU – NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE.
California State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.
Certifications Needed
BLS
NRP
