Our Senior Event Sales Managers are passionate professionals who drive event sales and deliver unforgettable experiences for our clients and guests.

As the Senior Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue through corporate, social, and group event sales. You will work with your RESM, GM, and sales team to help lead our strategic sales efforts, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure seamless event execution. This role requires a sales‑driven professional with a strong background in hospitality, event planning, and B2B / B2C sales. You will work with your RESM to provide leadership to the sales team to maximize and optimize revenue and reach sales goals and budgets.

Essential Functions

Execute sales strategies to exceed revenue targets for corporate and social events

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and inbound inquiries

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, DMCs, and local businesses and clients

Conduct sales presentations, site tours, and contract negotiations to close event bookings

Collaborate with Operations and F&B to ensure seamless event execution

Oversee event logistics, including space planning, F&B coordination, and entertainment integration

Quickly respond to all inquiries and convert leads into events

Mentor junior sales team members, sharing best practices and sales techniques

Provide weekly sales reporting and forecasts

Achieve and exceed sales goals

Participate in trade shows and promotional events when applicable

Manage accounts and work to secure repeat/referral business

Actively seek out and engage in cross‑selling opportunities among other SPIN locations

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

5+ years of event sales or similar experience in hospitality, entertainment, or a related industry

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets

Strong knowledge of event planning, F&B, and venue operations

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Tripleseat, or similar)

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
