Responsibilities
Work with Area Managers to promote safety ownership to field management.
Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly safety visits/inspections in line with the East Region Safety Action Plan.
Provide technical expertise and assistance for all aspects of the safety program.
Deliver training and mentorship through Daily Job Brief meetings and related documentation.
Educate staff on safety philosophies and safe‑work practices.
Deploy oversight processes that ensure the integrity of inspection, training and reporting procedures.
Participate in pre‑bid and pre‑construction phases, focusing on safe work practices and equipment requirements.
Lead the development of Activity Hazard Analysis, Daily Job Briefings, Work Site Observation Reports and Safety Action Plans.
Track and verify corrective actions, review incident reports, and proactively investigate OSHA recordables and high‑loss potential incidents.
Assist with other functions required by Corporate or Regional management.
Interface with customers and vendors on safety‑related issues.
Qualifications
CUSP certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CUSA, OSHA 30, OSHA 10, etc.
