Camp Arrowhead is North Fulton’s premier day camp. It is an adrenaline‑fueled, Jesus‑centered day camp for rising kindergarteners through rising 6th graders. We provide our campers with an unforgettable blend of outdoor thrills, dynamic worship, and Christ‑centered community. From one of Georgia’s highest and longest zip lines, to our rock wall, archery, ropes courses, bazooka ball dome and more — every day is packed with heart‑pounding excitement and purpose‑driven fun.

Vision & Purpose of This Role The Executive Director serves as the chief visionary and people‑leader for Camp Arrowhead, overseeing all locations, operations, finances and ministries. This role carries the mission forward – delivering Christ‑centered, high‑energy, adventure‑filled experiences that transform lives. The Executive Director leads with spiritual depth, operational excellence and contagious enthusiasm, ensuring every camper, family and staff member encounters the love of Christ through the camp’s vibrant, high‑energy environment.

Job Responsibilities Visionary & Spiritual Leadership

Cast and sustain the vision for Camp Arrowhead as a dynamic, Christ‑centered ministry.

Lead, disciple, and inspire full‑time and seasonal leaders and staff to grow spiritually and serve joyfully.

Foster a dynamic camp culture that reflects a passion for Christ, a drive toward excellence, adventure, and unreasonable hospitality that leads families to experience Jesus and grow in that relationship.

Model a maturing and vibrant prayer life and walk with Jesus that influences every level of the organization.

Oversee spiritual content integration in all programs, events, and guest experiences.

Consult with stakeholders and advisory group to determine camp vision and execution.

Organizational Leadership & Strategy

Oversee all Camp Arrowhead sites, staff, programs, and operations year‑round.

Develop long‑term strategic plans for growth, site development, and ministry expansion.

Cultivate strategic partnerships with local churches, schools, colleges and businesses to ensure Camp Arrowhead is a well‑known, valued and supported cornerstone in our community.

Lead annual budgeting, staffing, and program planning in partnership with church leadership to ensure financial health and viability.

Establish systems that ensure consistent safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Drive recruitment and retention of high‑caliber staff and volunteers by cultivating a strong culture and robust training program.

Create pathways that introduce the campers and their families to Stonecreek Church and disciple them in that relationship.

Program & Guest Experience

Ensure all programs deliver on the camp’s promise of adventure, discipleship, and life‑change.

Collaborate with the Program Director and site teams to maintain engaging, Christ‑centered programming.

Set the bar for high‑energy, safe, and mission‑aligned experiences for campers and guests.

Oversee off‑season initiatives such as marketing events, one‑day camps, and outreach opportunities.

Champion connections between Stonecreek Church and Camp Arrowhead, creating pathways for people to encounter Jesus and grow as followers of Christ.

Communication & Partnerships

Serve as the primary ambassador for Camp Arrowhead to parents, partners, and the community.

Build strong relationships with Stonecreek Church leadership and ministry partners.

Communicate the camp’s vision and success through stories, reports, and presentations that inspire engagement, giving and involvement.

Partner with the Creative Team to grow visibility and engagement across all audiences.

Operational Excellence & Stewardship

Ensure facilities, finances, and programs reflect good stewardship and organizational integrity.

Oversee compliance with safety standards, policies, and applicable regulations.

Lead the leadership team with clarity, accountability, and encouragement.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Regularly required to talk or hear.

Frequently required to sit.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, kneel, or crawl.

May occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.

Vision requirements: Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment noise level: Low to moderate.

Must be able to work flexible hours, with increased availability and focus during the summer season.

Comfortable engaging in outdoor environments and camp activities.

Ability to navigate uneven terrain.

Desired Qualities Education & Experience:

Mature and active Christian faith, with a passion for discipling others.

5–8 years of senior leadership experience in camping, ministry, or nonprofit management.

Proven success leading multi‑site or large‑scale programs.

Bachelor’s degree in Leadership, Ministry, Education, or a related field.

Graduate degree – Strongly Preferred.

Seminary degree – Strongly Preferred.

Advanced ability to hire, train, and oversee camp employees, as well as ensuring the campers’ wellbeing.

Ability to manage budgets and monitor expenses.

In‑depth knowledge of activity‑related safety regulations, as well as health and sanitation requirements.

Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Sets appropriate boundaries to protect character and integrity and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information, including employee records, performance evaluations, and compensation information.

Employment Status: Full‑time, Exempt (FSLA).

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $125,000.
