We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong Python and backend development experience to design and implement the next generation of our core data and analytics infrastructure.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our investment platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools. You’ll work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and technology peers to deliver reliable, maintainable, and high-quality software.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for data, portfolio, and reporting workflows.
Apply OOP principles to build modular, reusable, and well-tested components.
Manage large datasets - integrating, transforming, and optimizing data flows across platforms.
Improve system performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices.
Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of backend development experience.
Strong Python expertise, including OOP, async programming, and testing.
Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Proven experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
