Job Description Open to these offices:

Experience:
7+ Years of Experience 75% reduced hours schedule based on a full time FTE of 40 hours per week. The annual billable hours requirement for this role is 1200.
Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Non-Profit Tax Of Counsel Attorney to join its nationally recognized Tax Practice. The firm is known for delivering strategic tax counsel to a broad range of clients, from global corporations to cutting-edge startups across a wide spectrum of operational, transactional, and cross-border matters.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience advising on complex tax matters related to nonprofit organizations, including structuring hybrid arrangements involving both nonprofit and for-profit entities. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with attorneys across practice groups on issues spanning:
M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital
Tax-Exempt Organizations and Charitable Entities
Real Estate Transactions and REITs
Investment Funds and Tax Equity Structures
International Taxation and Tax Treaties
Tax Controversies and Litigation
State and Local Tax Compliance
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of nonprofit tax experience
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to distill complex tax concepts into clear, actionable advice
Admission to the state bar of the applicable office or eligibility to waive in
